Houston Hotel Packages...

Hello, I'm Greg. Whenever I go to Houston I end up paying a great deal for hotel packages.

Then I found all the underground local deals and left myself more money for booze and entertainment.

You could spend a full year in Houston and still not experience everything that this great metropolitan city has to offer. Rather than talk about how many entertaining things there are to do in Houston, let's talk about where you are going to stay. There are over 60,000 hotel rooms available in downtown Houston area. This article will inform you about my top 3 recommendations and what you will find in each of these hotels.

Rather than ranking the top three lets just talk about them and let you decide. The first Houston hotel you should consider is the elegant Crowne Plaza Hotel. This hotel is great because they offer awesome package deals. Depending on what time of year you go you will see different package deals to coincide with what is going on in Houston at that time of year. Some of the deals you will find are the rather normal family city pass package and business packages. The real fun ones are the romance package, the rodeo package and my personal favorite, the barbeque cook off weekend deal. The hotel has a restaurant called Brazos that will definitely give any other restaurant in Texas some tasty competition.

Another interesting Houston hotel you should consider is the Magnolia Hotel. This place will surely leave you turning your head and leave an impression with you that you shan't forget. This glamorous accommodation can truthfully say that it is the only Houston hotel with a rooftop pool and hot tub. And it features a great view of downtown Houston that will create unforgettable memories. The hotel is no stranger to good reviews as it’s' bar was rated best in the city at one point. There is also a club for all of you bum shakers looking to dance the night away. See this place for yourself as no review will do it justice.

If you are looking for a truly relaxing stay while you are in the city then perhaps you should consider the Houstonian Hotel, Club and Spa. When you walk into this building you simply feel calm and comfortable and leave that way as well. The kind staff and talented spa staff know how to pamper a person in a personal way while maintaining the utmost professionalism. The clean facility, inside and out, makes your weekend at the spa seem like a few hours instead of a few days.

Any of these three very different hotels in Houston should make your stay interesting to say the least. You shouldn't feel the need to book a cheap and boring bed and breakfast style hotel when there are some very original and entertaining alternatives out there. May you make a fun choice for your next visit.

There are so many Houston hotels to choose from that it can be impossible to know what to choose. Most people will simply pick what is cheapest with a vacant room at the time they are going to be there. This article is not for those people. If you are looking for luxury accommodations then I will review three of my personal favorite four star hotels and tell you what you will find at these great Houston hotels.

Let's start with the largest convention hotel in the city which is the Hilton Houston Americas Hotel. It is located right in the heart of downtown and connects with the George R. Brown convention center by some very classy glass enclosed skywalks. The best thing about it is that it is literally 2 blocks from the Astros stadium. And it gets even better because it is only one block from the Toyota center where the Rockets play. Other interesting things nearby are the museum of fine arts, the museum of natural science and the Holocaust museum.

Being a four star hotel means that there must be four star food available on the premises as well. These fine dining facilities offer supremely aged prime beef, fine wines, and many more gourmet dishes that are simply exquisite.

All the other amenities that you find here are typical of a fine four star resort. The thing that stands out is the indoor pool that measures seventy five feet with a supreme view of the downtown area from the top floor of the resort.

The resort is a great accommodation for sports fans, romantic getaways, and of course business meetings. The 30 meeting rooms will make it easy for you to book a conference for your company and bring the whole family along.

Cheap Houston hotels are not so hard to find. The internet has made it super easy to find a good deal when traveling to Houston or anywhere else in the world. There is so much competition that companies will create packages with business partners just to get people into the hotel at all. Hotels have seen a drop in revenue in the last few years. This is why now, 2010, is a great year to find an awesome deal on Houston hotels.

Houston hotels come in a wide variety of price ranges and amenities. You can find some great four star hotels in downtown Houston and on the opposite end of the spectrum you can find some dirt cheap hole in the walls that will be good for people just looking to crash on a bed after blacking our from a night of drinking out on the town. Houston really is such a big city that there are plenty of accommodations for all ages and demographics.

Once you decide on a price range for your hotel in Houston, don't let that limit you. Settling on a hotel simply because it is the cheapest is not necessarily the best option. You should evaluate what activities and sites you plan to see while in Houston and map out which part of the city you will be spending the most time in. Then you can look at the hotels in this area and choose the best one that fits your prices range. Paying an extra ten to twenty dollars a night may seem like a lot but weighing that against the convenience of being close to where you will be spending all your time produces a clear cut choice.

As stated earlier there are so many Houston hotels that it should be simple and quick to find a great Houston hotel to stay in on your next family vacation or business outing. I would recommend starting your search with some of the larger well known travel sites like Expedia, Travelocity or hotels.com. They are large sites with a ton of money and can therefore afford to produce great deals for you. They make it easy to book a Houston rental car as well. Enjoy your stay at whatever Houston hotels you choose.

If you plan on visiting Houston this year you are obviously going to need somewhere to stay. If you aren't as fortunate as me to have relatives who live there and don't mind you sleeping on their couch for a week, you are probably going to be investigating the prices of a cheap Houston Hotel. Here are some things you should know before you make your selection amongst the numerous Houston hotels.

Location is your number one priority. If you are going to be doing a lot of activities outside of your hotel, then it makes sense to stay in a hotel near those activities. If you are going on a business trip and there will be a conference, then it also makes sense to either stay in the hotel where the conference is being held or at an adjacent hotel. There are so many hotels in Houston that it will not be hard to accomplish this.

For those family oriented trips, here are some recommended sites to see, all of which you should have no trouble finding Houston hotels that are close by to the site. The 1940 Air Terminal Museum will educate you on civil aviation history. If you're looking for contemporary and classical plays then the Alley Theatre will be a good choice. Check out the American Cowboy museum and take a tour by horse or hayride. The art car museum should satisfy dad's curiosity. The Contemporary Arts Museum in Houston does not collect and holds international and national contemporary art. An interesting outdoor experience can be had at the Forbidden Gardens museum with replicas of China's major historic scenes. The ever popular Galleria attracts more than 24 million visitors a year to the world class shopping at 375 stores, ice rink and restaurants. The award winning Houston Grand Opera should satisfy opera fans. There are too many other attractions to list here so the last one you should check out is the Sam Houston Race Park that holds horse racing.

With all of these great attractions to see, planning your strip should be difficult. But once you have made a great itinerary for you or your family, just make sure that you find the best of the Houston hotels to call your home away from home.
